RECAP of the cps 2026 Annual Meeting
The 2026 Colorado Pharmacy Society Annual Meeting was held on June 12 and 13 following the Residency Conference of the Rockies. This meeting was truly special. A total of 197 attendees gathered in Black Hawk, Colorado, over the 3 days to to celebrate 25 years of one united voice working to advance the field of pharmacy. We are excited to see what the next 25 years will bring!
The meeting days were filled with valuable networking opportunities, insightful presentations, and timely updates that are shaping the future of pharmacy practice. The lineup of presentations covered interests of multiple practice areas and CPS practitioner types (students, technicians, or pharmacists)! Highlights of the meeting included outstanding educational sessions, Thursday night’s Educational Dinner, sponsored by Takeda, the Exhibitor Luncheon and Reception, our new Reverse Expo, recognition of our deserving award recipients, the installation of our new board, and, of course, many celebrations honoring our 25th year of “One Society, One Voice.”
Key Note Speaker (Alison Verges Walters) at the Annual Meeting
Colorado Pharmacists Society (CPS) was honored to welcome Alison Verges Walters as the esteemed keynote speaker at the CPS 2026 Annual Meeting - 25 Years of One Society, One Voice: All in for Colorado Pharmacy. Alison delivered her impassioned talk entitled “Angels for Change Take on Drug Shortages" discussing her organization, Angels for Change and their advocacy to combat the drug shortage crisis.
